Lent at St. Luke & The Epiphany

Lent is always an active time at The Church of St. Luke & The Epiphany. There are many activities throughout this holy season which are designed to provide each of us with opportunities to refresh our relationship to God through Jesus Christ and to challenge us to think about what Lent can mean to us both
SUNDAYS
9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Holy Eucharist
10 a.m. Bible Study in the Blue Room
Prayer Shawl Ministry
10 a.m. Prayer Shawl Ministry in the Nursery from February 28-March 21. If you are unable to bring your own knitting or crochet supplies some will be provided - Beginners are both welcome and encouraged to participate!
Face Time With The Clergy
12:45 p.m. on Sunday March 7, 14 and 21 a half hour conversation with the preacher on the Sermon.

Evening Prayer
6:30 p.m. Evening Prayer Monday - Thursday
Epiphany Tuesdays
We will be having a series of special events on Tuesdays through Lent. On Tuesdays our usual 6:30 p.m. Evening Prayer will culminate with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Then between 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. we will have a presentation on a variety of topics to help us renew and challenge our faith.

Saturday March 27 A Day with Luther Snow. More on this event to follow.
HOLY WEEK
Begin your observance of Holy Week with Palm Sunday on March 28th followed by Maundy Thursday on April 1.
April 3 The Great Vigil of Easter with Holy Baptism
EASTER SUNDAY
April 4 Come celebrate the end of our Lenten observance with the celebration of the most holy day of the year, Easter Sunday!
