Millenium Development Goals

There will be a Millenium Development Goals (MDG) meeting today at 12:45 in the nursery.
The MDGs are "the world's time-bound and quantified targets for addressing extreme poverty in its many dimensions; income poverty, hunger, disease, lack of adequate shelter, and exclusion-while promoting gender equality, education, and environmental sustainability.They are also about basic human rights: the rights of each person on the planet to health, education, shelter, and security."
For the past 4 years our parish has committed 0.07% of its budget to help eradicate extreme poverty. All are welcome to join in beginning the discussion of our 2010 grant.
