Millennium Development Goals

There was a strong response to the five projects presented for a vote to the congregation. Ninety people cast a ballot. Based on the results the MDG committee made its recommendation to the Vestry this week: $3000 of the parish outreach budget will be donated to Potters for Peace, a worldwide water purification project, $250 to Rwandan health and nutrition project, $150 to a South African AIDS project, and $100 to the Ghana education project. The total of $3500 represents 0.7% of our operating budget. More information about how individuals can become more involved will be made available.
