Parish Picnic

Mark your calendar now for the 4th annual parish picnic on Saturday September 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Red Bank Battlefield Park in National Park New Jersey. This beautiful spot on the Delaware River, just minutes from the Walt Whitman Bridge, was a real hit with last year's picnic goers. Once again the Evangelism Committee’s Parish Life team is putting together what promises to be another terrific event.
Lunch will be served between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. with games and other activities to follow. If you are able, please bring a covered dish, dessert or beverage to share with everyone. Hotdogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers will be provided. The picnic pavilion is adjacent to a well equipped children's playground and clean rest rooms are conveniently located nearby. Unfortunately however park rules don't allow visitors to bring pets with them.
A mailing with all of the picnic information, including directions to the park, was sent to everyone on the parish mailing list at the beginning of September. If you didn't receive an invitation and would like directions to the park check out the following website: http://www.co.gloucester.nj.us . If you need, or can provide transportation to and from the park please sign up during coffee hour. For additional information you can speak with Arlene McGurk, Wayne Wagner or Dennis Wright.
The parish picnic has become an eagerly anticipated yearly event so be sure to invite your family and friends.
