Partners For Sacred Spaces Training

Partners for Sacred Spaces is a locally based national organization, assisting congregations in maintaining and restoring places of worship by fully engaging their communities. We are fortunate to be one of twelve congregations selected to participate in this year's training, entitled New Dollars/New Partners. Our Partners Team leaders are Rodger, Mary Campbell, Mary Kelley, and Joe Quinn. The training, which began in late June,will involve the entire congregation at a variety of levels over the next eight months or so. We'll look at our history, both the distant past and the last decade or two, we'll calculate how much in-kind value we offer to our neighbors, we'll assess the physical state of our buildings, and we'll develop a compelling case statement capturing who we are, what we have, and what we do. This case statement, which might be described as an expanded mission statement, will help the congregation (that means YOU) tell our story. Stay tuned.
